  1. Take fresh spinach leaves and boil it and transfer it into cold water. Now in a mixing bowl add spinach, Coriander, garlic & ginger and make a fine paste.
  2. Add all the ingredients with rice & mung daal & prepare a simple khichdi.
  3. In a pan take 2 tbsp oil, add jeera, bay leaf and cinnamon stick into it, add finely chopped onion, saute it for 2-3 mins and add chopped tomatoes.
  4. Now add palak puree and let it cook. Now add prepared khichdi and add water (one which is left from boiling spinach) it will give taste rather than plain water, add 1/2 lemon juice on the top. Add 1/2 tsp garam masala if needed.
  5. Now take 2-3 tbsp ghee and fry chopped garlic. Top it on the khichdi and serve it with papad & onion slice.
