- For the fillingwash the spinach thoroughly, blanch it and then let it strain for 5'. Then cut it and place it in a bowl together with the egg, the herbs, the feta cheese and the breadcrumbs. Attention! Make sure that the filling doesn't have any liquids. If necessary, add more breadcrumbs.
- Place about 2 tbsp of filling in the middle of the circle.
- Then place the rest of the filling around the circle, a little inwards from the edge.
- Cover with the second puff pastry sheet and press the edge all round to seal.
- Press carefully the middle of the circle with your hands so that you shape the center of the flower.
- Cut every three fingers as shown in the photo. Make sure that you don't start cutting from the center but from the end of the pressed part outwards.
- Twist the "petals" of the flower.
- And press lightly so that they spread out a little.
- Finally brush the center of the flower with egg and sprinkle just the center with sesame seeds or black sesame seeds. Bake at 180°C until golden brown.
