The ingredients needed to make Adobo Squid:
- Take 1/2 kg Squid (sliced, innards removed)
- Prepare 1 pc Onion (sliced)
- Prepare 2 cloves Garlic (chopped)

- Get 5 tbsp Soy Sauce (Toyo)
- Make ready 1 tbsp Vinegar
- Make ready 1 tbsp Brown Sugar

In a pot on medium heat, sauté garlic in oil until light brown. Add soy sauce and green chilis. Adobong Pusit / Squid Adobo is a very popular dish in the Philippines; want to know the reason why? Well, Filipinos love squid no matter how it is cooked and Adobo is definitely a Filipino's top choice.
Instructions to make Adobo Squid:
- Apply cooking oil, just enough to cover cooking pan
- Saute garlic, then Onion, then Ginger
- Include Squid, then mix
- Just as water rise, apply Soy Sauce, then mix
- Apply vinegar, then Brown Sugar. Mix
- Cover cooking pan. Wait till water evaps and cooking becomes saucy (about 10 mins)
- Apply Spring Onion & Chilli. Mix.
